Newly relocated to Seattle from NYC, Watershed Opera is devoted to character-rich, “up close and personal” performance of classic repertoire and new work. And the company’s next program (and Town Hall debut) Femmes Fatale delivers plenty of rich characters, with a focus on women who defied societal expectation.
Sharing the bill are orchestrated scenes from a new opera by company founder Jordan Corbin Wentworth — “Missing” — about a banker about to marry into a life of wealth and ambition, until he falls for a young woman on a Missing Persons poster.
